About Solid Concrete & Excavation:

Solid Concrete & Excavation has been doing business in Vermont for over 25 years. Our experienced Excavation team removes soil or hard rock from the work site with heavy equipment to create the hole; and our skilled operators complete the job with minimal disruption to the surrounding environment.
The SCE Concrete team takes on even the most demanding jobs – foundations, driveways, tunnel footings, septic systems, etc. We do residential, commercial, institutional, and renovation jobs. We regularly pour large slabs (20,000sf and up) with ease and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have the following:

5+ years of experience estimating concrete projects, and ability to complete estimates with no supervision.

Conception estimating experience.

Candidate’s list of projects includes at least one $5+ million project.

Excellent presentation skills, and ability to interact in order to develop credibility with clients and instill confidence.

Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite)

Must be self-motivated with ability to write well and communicate well with co-workers and follow-through on assigned projects with minimum supervision.

Must be able to do some travel and participate in walk-throughs of proposed construction sites.
